World´s Best™ makes it´s debut at the Vancouver CPMA Trade Show

The annual CPMA Trade Show (Canadian Produce Managers Association) was hosted March 23–24, 2006 at the Pan Pacific Convention Centre in Vancouver, BC. This trade show proved to be a tremendous opportunity for the debut of The Spice Depot´s World´s Best™ retail spice products.
The response from the large crowds that attended this show was very positive, as a number of potential clients and customers were impressed with the innovative and fresh presentation of our 12 retail grinder blends. This is just one of the many comments we received;
"I visited the CPMA in Vancouver last week and sampled your spices. I LOVED THEM! If I can find them close by I will purchase no other. I even cleaned my spice rack getting ready to buy more." – Leah from Burnaby, BC
Our marketing theme: The World´s Best™ – Always Grind Fresh™ complemented the trade show´s overall theme, as a number of major growers and food companies proudly displayed a variety of the world´s finest fresh fruits, vegetables and food products.
Not only did The Spice Depot have its own booth, but we were also able to display our newly designed merchandiser and product at the "Westcoast Produce" booth (an association of growers owned by the Pattison Group). Our Always Grind Fresh™ looked sharp right along side the "Fresh Salads to Go" display, not to mention the Westcoast canopy that had the phrase "Obsessed With Fresh" written boldly on its trim.
As an added bonus, we were also able to put together some sharp looking gift baskets for the "Chef Competition" that took place on both days (consisting of a metal strainer, tossing forks, and all our 12 blends). From this point of contact, we had a few of the chefs visit our booth where we were able to impress them with our sample spices from Indonesia. One of the head chefs even expressed a willingness to have our premium spices used in the upcoming BC Chef Show, which we will also be attending.
The response was very positive to our product and display, both from those who were visiting as well as the many growers and sellers that attended the conference. We look forward to continuing to promote our product and expanding our distribution base in the days ahead.
