Hot & Spicy Chicken Satay
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon chicken stock base
- 1 cup hot water
- 2 tablespoons ground Spice Depot Hot & Spicy Seasoning
- 3 tablespoons Ketjap Manis
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 lb sliced chicken breast
- 8 bamboo skewers
Methodology
In a mixing bowl, dissolve chicken base with hot water. Add ground Hot & Spicy Seasoning, Ketiap Manis and garlic. Add chicken and marinate for 1 hour. Soak skewers in water for 15 minutes prior to use so they do not burn in cooking process. Thread 2oz chicken breast on each bamboo skewer. To cook: Place skewers on grill or bake in preheated 375F oven for 10 - 15 minutes turning once. Serve with Peanut Sauce.
