Ingredients
- 1 large spaghetti squash
- 1/8 cup olive oil
- ½ teaspoon Spice Depot Sea Salt
- ½ teaspoon Spice Depot Garlic Pepper
- ¼ cup finely shredded asiago cheese
Methodology
Cut squash in half, lengthwise and remove seeds. Place cut side down in pan with 1/2 cm of water and bake at 350F for 45 minutes. Turn cut side up and bake until tender. Run fork through cooked squash to release strands from skin.
Place spaghetti squash in heated bowl and toss with olive oil and seasoning. Sprinkle with asiago cheese and serve.
Spaghetti squash is an excellent holiday side dish - alternative to candied yams - and can be made to compliment turkey more perfectly with the addition of chopped fresh or dried organic sage.
